Within the Fizik Spine Concept system, this saddle is categorised as a “Snake” type, which means it’s designed for those who have lots of flexibility and minimal rotation of the pelvis when pedalling.
Advanced Shell
The base of the Arione R1 Open is manufactured from a composite of nylon that’s reinforced with carbon fibre. This design reduces the weight and provides a stable platform for consistent comfort and a low weight. This advanced shell is wrapped with Fizik’s Comfort Core foam and a durable Microtex cover.
Carbon Fibre Rails
In addition to the carbon fibre reinforced shell, this saddle has braided carbon rails. These are light, strong and combine with the shell to ensure ultra-efficient power transfer.
