The Campagnolo Zonda Disc road wheels feature updated asymmetric rim profiles with a milled rim making it possible to reduce the peripheral weight of the rim and make the wheel extremely reactive. Campagnolo also use MoMag technology to produce a uniform rim that does not require rim tape and allows the wheel to run at a higher spoke tension causing greater stiffness and a more reactive wheel.

The Campagnolo Zonda Disc Wheelset features 21 stainless steel spokes with the Mega-G3 geometry to reinforce the braking side at the front and cassette side at the rear whilst producing extremely good stiffness and reactivity of the wheel. Wherever you’re riding, these ultra-efficient road bike wheels are a serious upgrade that can get you there quicker and safer.

Technologies:

RDB (Rim Dynamic Balance): The concept is simple and elegant: balance the weight of the gasket, with an item of similar weight placed on the exact opposite side. For top models, this is obtained by a special operation on the section of the rim opposite the rim joint.

MoMag™ “Mounting Magnet” System: No holes on the rim means that the rim is uniform at every point, free from stress points or zones of weakness and, for the clincher profiles no rim tape is required, to the benefit of weight reduction.
The advantages are immediately clear: greater rim lifetime, greater resistance to fatigue, the possibility to give the spokes greater tension, and greater stiffness which, in terms of performance, mean greater reactivity and acceleration.

G3 Spoke System: When compared to a traditional wheel, Campagnolo’s G3 assembly architecture improves energy transfer, reduces the stress on the spokes, and increases lateral rigidity. G3 refers to groups of three parallel straight-pull spokes, which are arranged in a 2:1 ratio, so one side of the wheel has twice as many spokes as the other.
